I pledged 100 $ today for Aman's expenses because I felt really bad abt that. I donated around 300$ till date including 20$ recurring contribution.
I filed my 485 long time ago. But when people who are really seeing the fruits of IV (July VB reversal) are higly reluctant to donate even a few bucks, while they are spending thousand's of dollars for their 485 stuff, I am kinda confused.
Are people really that selfish not to donate a few bucks(may be 5$per month) to an organization which is making them file 485 and reversed all this fiasco.

The immigration debate for legal immigrants and illegal immigrants with substantial presence in the USA has been raging for 2 years now. Reforms consistently went through Senate but got stuck in the house. Last year has been most painful and has brought matters to a tipping point. Therefore, I conclude that after the elections things have to settle down - this matter cannot be up in the air any longer. Either we get formally and bitterly screwed or some relief pops out in the next 2-3 months.

How about sending the flowers to many people rather than sending it just one person???
If 200 different people in DC get flowers then it will definitely create a larger impact than sending it one single person. .. Atleast thats what I think ...
We can very well send them to White House as well.. I know president responds to them with a nice autographed picture of himself alongwith first lady..

A note to my fellow IV members - I am not after the $42/Hr job. Good luck in finding a US citizen to do this job. I was wrong about EEO, it is actually IRCA which prohibits discrimination in recruitment and hiring.

As per web page on this link -Do allow all employees (including non-U.S. citizens) to provide any permissible documents to establish their identity or work authorization during the employment verification process.This will exclude applicants on H-1B visa status as they don't have work authorization to work for the new employer.
However, as I said before, Employer can not discriminate between GC holder, EAD, and OPT holder.

If many EB3-I folks are getting GCs then why is EB3-I PD stuck in 2001? Shouldn't it move?
One other note; those eb3 to eb2 conversoins original priority dates were 2003 in eb3.
