Bad news unless they allow mass conversion of TR applications into non-RIR. Imagine they took two years to get rid of 220,000 easier applications (2005 and 2006). Now they are left with some of the old TR applications and they must be thinking of how to meet the September deadline. I would not be surprised if they ask for an extension, citing processing difficulties.

Not sure if something is cooking at USCIS, last week an USCIS office called my attroney to get clarification on why we (my wife and I) are residing at separate addresses. We are in the process of relocation (company moved), my wife chose to continue her employment while she's searching for opportunities in the new location. The officer stated that they are trying to adjudicate the cases ASAP, hence he's inquiring to ensure there isnt any marriage fraud. My attorney responsed back will all the possible evidence to proved we are together.
Has anyone had a similar experience.

We have several bills that are being discussed to provide releif for all of us stuck in the Green Card process. We have very few dedicated volunteers working very hard and knocking the doors of representatives across the country seeking support for our bills. We need to lobby hard to get releif for all of us in this election year and lobbying is not cheap. We need dollars to keep up our lobbying efforts. We need help with raising dollars that are needed to keep working for our cause. We do not have Star Players and/or Star Athletes raising funds to support our cause. We need to do it ourselves. We all need to come together as a dedicated team with a mission to raise the targeted dollar amount. Can we do it?. Can we all step up and raise the dollars we need for our cause?.

Nobody was complaining b4 Jun 13th.. It's sucks when people get their hopes up and then go back to the infinite wait stage again... USCIS should be held responsible for it... Don't u agree ??

is there any way, any way in this whole freakin process, that we can get some sort of explanation for eb3-I first hand from DOS or USCIS? i mean there needs to be some justification for the acts? i know there are laws to interpret these dates, but how do we know that those laws are interpreted correctly by DOS or USCIS? though i am in eb3-I , jan 2003, i personally know atleast 3 folks who are in 2002 - eb3-I. Can we get some sort of guidance here.

Sometimes I figure I should just not be bothered. It is black box!!. But I can really not do that!. Atleast we are participating actively in the call campaigns. But is that all we can do?

Couple more days left on this phone campaign. Please flood the GOP senate offices with phone calls asking them to support the CIR framework.
They need to hear from us (the other side of the coin), to believe that there are people in their constituency that want these changes/reforms.....

You should receive the approval papers in a few weeks...
In case you donot, you have to follow up with PBEC...
If you donot get anywhere with that followup, there are some people who filed I-140s without the actual paper. In that case the USCIS sends a RFE to the PBEC.....

Landed July 1997.
Couple of contracting jobs with a desi bodyshopper(read it as a blood sucker). Believed him for almost 4 years of false promises that they will do GC processing. Finally quit the company and joined a major HMO company. Started the GC paper work in early Jan 2002. Due to the attorney screw ups, and wrong documentation, filed the labor in EB3 (did not even know that upto almost 2 years after filing, was thinking it was filed in EB2) in Jan 2003. Yes, it took 1 year for attorney's screw ups to be rectified. In that company, we were not allowed to talk directly to the lawyer and had to go thru the employer. So to get a simple answer would take 10-15 days. Wish IV was there then. Waited in Labor Processing for 4+years. 140 approved in early 2007. Filed 485 in july fiasco and got EAD, from then changed 2 jobs (got that freedom atleast). Per my own estimate, I should be receiving my GC sometimes in 2015. Current employer will not do GC processing , so no chance of filing for Eb2. I dont want to change employers even if it costs my GC, because, I am enjoying the work that I am doing. And in my opinion thats important because, I would rather be in a job that I enjoy more without GC than being in a job that I do not like with GC. So, 13 years and still going. Completed PMP, MBA meanwhile. Thats my story.
